This website, npihealing.com, is operated jointly by two related but legally separate companies:
Rawlin Chiropractic LLC, doing business as Neural Pathway Institute ("the Clinic"), a Utah limited liability company that provides chiropractic and neurological care to patients.
Neural Pathway Integration LLC ("NPI"), a Utah limited liability company that develops the Neural Pathway Integration method, certifies and trains practitioners in that method, and operates marketing on behalf of both companies.
Both companies are located at 124 S Fairfield Rd E, Layton, UT 84041.
Which company is responsible for your information depends on why you contacted us. If you are a patient or a prospective patient, the Clinic is responsible. If you are a practitioner or a prospective practitioner, NPI is responsible. Where both are involved, such as shared marketing systems, they act as joint operators and each is accountable to you under this policy.

This policy covers information collected through npihealing.com, our advertising, our text messaging programs, our email, and our phone lines.
It does not cover protected health information created or received by the Clinic in the course of treating you. That information is governed by HIPAA and is described in our separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which controls if the two documents ever conflict.
Information you give us. Name, phone number, email address, and anything you choose to tell us when you fill out a form, reply to a text, call us, or request information. If you describe a symptom or a health concern in a lead form or a text message, that is information you have chosen to share, and once it reaches the Clinic it is treated as protected health information under HIPAA.
Information collected automatically. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and similar technical data, collected through cookies and analytics tools including Google Analytics and the Meta pixel.
Information from advertising platforms. If you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes us the information you submitted on that form.
Information from scheduling. Appointments are booked through Jane, a third party practice management platform. Information you enter there is governed by Jane's own privacy terms in addition to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not trade it.
We operate two separate text messaging programs.
Patient program, operated by the Clinic. If you submit a patient inquiry form or give us your number, you may receive appointment information, follow up messages, and information about care at the Clinic. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or call (385) 220-0216.
Practitioner program, operated by NPI. If you submit a practitioner or certification inquiry, you may receive information about training, certification, and program dates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.
Opting out of one program does not opt you out of the other. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase, treatment, or enrollment.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We share information only in these situations:
Service providers. Companies that run our systems on our behalf, including our customer relationship platform, scheduling software, email and messaging providers, and analytics tools. They may use your information only to perform services for us. Where those providers handle protected health information for the Clinic, we have Business Associate Agreements in place with them as HIPAA requires, including with our customer relationship platform provider.
Between our two companies. The Clinic and NPI share marketing and contact systems. Protected health information is not shared with NPI for marketing purposes without your written authorization, and where NPI handles protected health information on the Clinic's behalf it does so under a Business Associate Agreement.
Advertising and analytics platforms. Aggregated and pseudonymous data for measurement. We do not send health information to advertising platforms.
When required by law. In response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
Business transfer. If either company is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and measure advertising performance. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
We use Google Analytics and the Meta pixel. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add on, and you can adjust ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings.

Patients have additional rights over their protected health information, including the right to access, amend, and request restrictions on their medical records. Those rights are described in the Notice of Privacy Practices.

Utah residents, and residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, may have additional rights. We honor those rights regardless of where you live.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor agreements. The Clinic's systems that handle protected health information are configured to meet HIPAA's Security Rule requirements. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as long as required by law. Patient medical records are retained according to Utah law and professional standards. Marketing contact information is retained until you ask us to delete it.
Our website and marketing are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect information online from children under 13. The Clinic may treat minor patients, and in that case information is collected from a parent or guardian in person and handled under HIPAA.
Our site links to third party sites, including our scheduling system. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
